7. Disable Windows Media Player Networking Sharing Service

8. Zorg dat je geen overbodige Partitie’s hebt zoals oude recovery partitie

9. CMD prompt als administrator: net user administrator /active:yes

10. Kopieer unattend.xml naar C:\windows\system32\sysprep. Even show hidden files & system files aan zetten.

11. Open command prompt en ga naar C:\windows\system32\sysprep

12. Voer het volgende commando in: sysprep /generalize /oobe /shutdown /unattend unattend.xml

Windows 7 GPO Wallpaper

Windows 7 heeft een bug met het zetten van een Wallpaper in een gpo.
Hiervoor heb je twee oplossingen

Oplossing 1
Onder Group Policy Preferences moet je een registry key aanmaken met daarin de link naar de achtergrond.

en tevens moet ook nog de volgende policy ingesteld worden

Oplossing 2:
Is het vervangen van default achtergrond die Windows 7 heeft en gelinkt wordt wanneer een nieuwe user op de desbetreffende pc inlogt. Dit scriptje heb ik in MDT gehangen.

Mijn blog een jaar later.

Begin December 2008 ben ik begonnen met mijn blog. Mijn eerste post was Vista & Grabit want ik had
toen nog geen idee waar ik over wou gaan bloggen.

Een ex-collega Duncan Epping had ook een blog. Genaamd Yellow Bricks.
Ik vond wel interessant dat bloggen. Dus ook maar gaan bloggen over VMWare & Microsoft.

Een dikke jaar later zijn de statistieken als volgt zonder bots:

Het aantal hits schommelt tussen de 700 en 1500 hits per dag.

Quicktime Repackagen

1. Download Quicktime

2. Extract de quicktime.exe op de volgende twee manier
Manier1: quicktime.exe /extract
Manier2: Gebruik 7zip

3. Download: Orca

4. Open de Quicktime MSI met Orca.

5. Ga naar View -> Summary Information.

6. Onder Language verwijderd alles behalve 1033 (US English).

7. Onder Shortcut verwijder de volgende 3 snelkoppelingen: QuicktimeTimePlayer_Desktop & QuicktimeUninstaller & Quicktime Readme

8. Onder CaPackage AppleSoftwareUpdate verwijderd

9. Onder LaunchCondition -> NOT BNEWERPRODUCTISINSTALLED verwijderd.

10. Sla de wijzingen op & sluit Orca

11. Nu kun je AppleApplicationSupport.msi & Quicktime.msi aan een GPO koppelen.
